Lakeland introduces a new Tri Ply cookware series aimed at rivaling Gordon Ramsay's preferred HexClad non-stick pans, available at competitive prices starting from £24.99.

In the world of kitchen appliances, the latest addition to the market is Lakeland's new Tri Ply cookware range. This innovative collection, marketed with the tagline 'All the tech, without the hefty price tag', has been making waves due to its affordability and quality.

Molly Cleary, the Kitchen Appliances Editor and Certified Expert on Appliances at our platform, has been reviewing hundreds of small appliances for the last four years. She has recently taken a close look at Lakeland's new range and reported her findings.

The range includes a 28cm wok and frying pans of three different sizes: 28, 24, and 20cm. Among these, the 28cm wok comes with a glass lid, providing versatility in cooking. The Lakeland Tri Ply 28cm Frying Pan, priced at £49.99, is £94 cheaper than HexClad's cheapest offering in the same type of pan.

The Lakeland Tri Ply range, like HexClad's, boasts an aluminium core and a stainless steel surface. The frying pan is built with three metal layers for superior strength, ensuring durability. It is oven safe up to 260°C, making it a versatile choice for various cooking methods.

One of the standout features of the Lakeland Tri Ply frying pan is its non-stick surface. Combining stainless steel and aluminium, it provides a reliable non-stick surface, reducing the need for excessive oil and making cleanup a breeze. Moreover, the pan is free from PFAS and PFOAs, ensuring a healthier cooking experience.

Our expert tester, Lisa, gave the Lakeland Tri Ply frying pan a 5-star seal of approval in her review. However, Lakeland's alternatives to HexClad's pans have yet to be tested by another expert reviewer, Helen McCue.

Molly Cleary has attended consumer shows such as IFA, hosted in Berlin, to see the cooking innovations of the future. She has also visited the testing and development spaces of multiple kitchen brands, providing her with a unique insight into the industry.

The new Lakeland range offers an affordable alternative to HexClad's best non-stick frying pan, with pans available from £24.99. The 28cm wok is the most expensive pick of all at £37.99, still a reasonable price compared to other brands in the market.

For those looking for high-quality, affordable cookware, Lakeland's new Tri Ply range is definitely worth considering. With its innovative design, reliable non-stick surface, and competitive pricing, it's no wonder that it's making waves in the kitchen appliance world.
