In a significant move, Mercedes-Benz has unveiled its revamped G-Class lineup, including the much-anticipated return of the Mercedes G-Class Cabriolet, and the introduction of the electrified G-Class 580 EQ.

Starting with the G-Class (2024), the vehicle boasts a slightly rounder design compared to its predecessors, marking a subtle yet noticeable evolution in the iconic SUV's aesthetics. The steering wheel has been revised, and the interior now offers more extensive individualization options. All model variants come equipped with the MBUX infotainment system and a new touchscreen display as standard.

The Mercedes-AMG G 63, a slightly larger derivative, measures 4873 mm in length, 1984 mm in width, and 1971 mm in height. It retains the distinctive AMG-specific decorative elements and exclusive features in the MBUX system.

The Mercedes G-Class Cabriolet, set to make its comeback in September 2025, will maintain the same wheelbase and exterior length as today's standard models.

Mercedes-Benz has taken over the electrified Mercedes G-Class 580 EQ development, which was presented at the Munich Motor Show in 2025 as part of the company's electrification strategy. The G 580 EQ (2024) is recognizable by its closed radiator grille with softly illuminated LED border, and the "Edition One" features exclusive matte blue paint details. Notably, the G 580 EQ (2024) no longer houses a spare wheel or towing rope in the small box on the rear door; instead, it houses a charging cable.

New leather combinations, grab handles, and interior and exterior trim elements are available for customization across all models, allowing customers to personalize their vehicles to their preferences.

This comprehensive update to the Mercedes G-Class lineup promises to maintain the vehicle's legendary off-road prowess while introducing modern amenities and design elements, ensuring its continued appeal in the luxury SUV market.
