According to Deichstube's report, the club is showing interest in signing 31-year-old Philipp Kühn from VfL Osnabrück, who are currently in the second division. BILD adds that the negotiation process is gaining more clarity.

Werder Bremen is searching for a new backup goalkeeper.

A seasoned player who can take the third spot behind Michael Zetterer (30) and Mio Backhaus (20).

Kühn played in 19 second-division matches for Osnabrück this season, serving as the top goalie.

Throughout his time with the soon-to-be third division team, the pro consistently held his ground against other goalkeepers, showcased his endurance, and remained a crucial figure on the team, even when he wasn't starting. Traits that Werder Bremen values in their new number three.
