Kuban's governor has endorsed a restriction, prohibiting the execution and dissemination of details related to UAV assaults.
The Krasnodar Krai region has taken a significant step to safeguard its security by issuing a decree that prohibits the sharing of information about UAV attacks, air defense systems, and electronic warfare systems. The decree, signed by the region's head, Veniamin Kondratyev, aims to maintain confidentiality regarding critical infrastructure and military operations in the region.
The decree forbids the dissemination of information that could determine the type of UAV, the location and trajectory of the attack, launch, and the nature of the damage. This includes photography, videotaping, and any other means of documentation or sharing related to the use, crash sites, and consequences of drone attacks.
The ban extends to the location and deployment of forces and means of the Ministry of Defense, Federal Security Service (FSB), Federal Security Service of the President of the Russian Federation (FSO), National Guard (Rosgvardiya), and military infrastructure in the region. However, it does not apply to the official publication and other official dissemination of information by these bodies and organizations in the media, including online publications, or in non-online information resources.
The ban also includes the location of potentially dangerous and critical facilities, such as communication systems, industrial facilities, and energy and transport infrastructure. While the specific organizations exempted from publishing information about the status and deployment of air defense systems, electronic warfare systems, security forces, and critical facilities during the crisis in Krasnodar Krai are not explicitly named, the decree does not extend to information about the location of these forces, means, and facilities that is officially published or disseminated by these bodies and organizations.
It is important to note that the ban does not include the activities of organizations subordinate to the aforementioned bodies and organizations. The decree does not apply to the activities of federal executive bodies, their territorial bodies, regional bodies of state power, local self-government bodies of municipalities, and organizations subordinate to them.
This move by the Krasnodar Krai region is part of a broader effort to maintain security and stability in the region, especially in the face of increasing threats from drone attacks. The decree underscores the importance of protecting sensitive information and critical infrastructure to ensure the safety and well-being of the region's residents.
