Krasnodar's Digital Registry Transforms Creative Industry Access in Kuban

A new digital registry for creative industry professionals in Krasnodar Territory has streamlined the application process. Since December 2025, entrepreneurs, self-employed individuals, and organisations in the region can now apply online without paperwork or in-person visits. The system aims to boost growth in Kuban's creative sector by making registration faster and more accessible.

The registry, maintained by Krasnodar Territory's Ministry of Economic Development, is open to Russian-registered entities actively working in creative fields. Eligibility rules exclude foreign agents, foreign-owned companies, and those linked to extremism or terrorism. Legal entities must also be operational to qualify.

Applicants no longer need to visit offices or submit physical documents. Instead, they can complete the entire process through the *Gosuslugi* public services portal. After registering on the Unified Portal, users select the 'Support Measures' section, choose the creative industry registry, and click 'Apply for Support'. The electronic form requires applicants to pick their professional category and upload any necessary files. Officials have emphasised the system's transparency and speed, designed to encourage wider participation. Since its launch in December 2025, this remains the first and only digital registry of its kind in Russia for creative professionals.

The simplified process removes barriers for creative workers in Kuban, allowing them to register from anywhere. The online system also ensures that all applications are processed efficiently. With no prior records of similar registries in Russia, this initiative marks a new approach to supporting the region's creative economy.
