Krasnodar Region Expands Rehabilitation for Veterans With New High-Tech Center

Veterans of the special military operation and their families now have access to expanded recovery services in the Krasnodar region. A new rehabilitation centre is under construction, while existing sanatoriums continue to provide treatment vouchers. The programme has already supported nearly 6,000 people over the past two years.

The Krasnodar region currently offers rehabilitation at 47 sanatorium and resort facilities spread across eight districts. Eligible veterans and their relatives can receive vouchers covering treatments worth up to 100,000 rubles (around $1,300), with higher support—up to 130,000 rubles (around $1,650)—for those with first-group disabilities.

A major addition to these services is the upcoming Krasnodar Territory Multidisciplinary Medical Rehabilitation Center. Designed for service members recovering from injuries, the facility will treat musculoskeletal disorders, cardiovascular issues, neurological conditions, and other somatic diseases. The centre will occupy 58,000 square meters, featuring an outpatient clinic, day and 24-hour inpatient units, and an intensive care department. Rehabilitation methods will include physiotherapy, therapeutic exercise, and specialised medical procedures.

Construction is now over 60% complete. The monolithic and enclosing structures are finished, and workers are installing the roof, ventilated façade, windows, and internal systems. Interior finishing is also underway.

The new centre will expand the region's capacity to support veterans and their families. With nearly 6,000 people already treated under the programme, the facility aims to provide advanced medical rehabilitation. The project reflects ongoing efforts to improve recovery services for those involved in the special military operation.
