Krasnodar Krai transforms rural life with 76 infrastructure upgrades in 2025

Krasnodar Krai completed 76 rural development projects in 2025 under the state programme Comprehensive Development of Rural Areas. The initiative aimed to upgrade infrastructure in villages, where over 40% of the region's population lives. Funding for the projects totalled more than 406 million rubles from federal and regional budgets.

The programme focused on improving medical, social, and public facilities across the region. Twelve of the 76 projects directly strengthened rural healthcare. Key upgrades included the reconstruction of the Apsheronsk District Hospital, the Vityazevskaya Rural Clinic in Anapa District, and the Ust-Labinsk Central District Hospital.

In Vyselkovsky District, a building housing a children's clinic and an outpatient oncology centre was repaired. Authorities also purchased 27 new medical devices, such as a CT scanner and two ultrasound machines. Beyond healthcare, municipalities used the funds to install children's playgrounds, revitalise public spaces, and build sidewalks. In Korensovsky District, a cultural centre received modern equipment, a sports complex was renovated, and water supply networks were upgraded.

The completed projects expanded access to healthcare, leisure, and utilities in rural Krasnodar Krai. With federal and regional backing, the programme delivered upgrades to hospitals, clinics, and community spaces. The 406 million ruble investment marks a significant step in improving living conditions for the region's rural residents.
