Kids enthused over pizza creation
In the picturesque town of Neukirchen, a holiday event saw a unique gathering at the local bakery. Twenty excited children, under the guidance of Andrea Obermeier and Eva Leschhorn, embarked on a pizza baking adventure.
For some of the children, this was their first time participating in such an activity at the Neukirchen bakery. The day was filled with hands-on learning, as the children kneaded the pizza dough by hand, without the aid of a Thermomix. This was also a first for some, as they had never kneaded dough without this modern kitchen appliance.
Renate Brunner and Jessica Peischl lent a helping hand when the children's fingers grew tired during the hand-kneading process. The children, surprised at the absence of a Thermomix, eagerly took on the task, shaping their own pizzas under the watchful eyes of their mentors.
The Neukirchen bakery generously provided the pizza dough for the activity. Teacher Herr Wernicke was also present, overseeing the festivities. Andrea Obermeier, one of the organisers, had made it clear that only hand-kneading would be used during the activity, ensuring a traditional and hands-on experience for all.
The holiday pizza baking activity at the Neukirchen bakery was a resounding success, fostering a sense of community and culinary creativity among the young participants. The pizzas, baked with passion and skill, were no doubt a delicious reminder of a special day in the heart of Neukirchen.
