Kick-off for outdoor swimming season commences

Detmold, Germany, is gearing up for the summer season as four of its public baths prepare to open their doors on May 10th. The baths, including Berlebeck/Heiligenkirchen, Hiddesen, "Schwarzenbrink" in Heidenoldendorf, and "Fischerteich" in Pivitsheide V.L., will offer heated swimming pools for a pleasant water experience.

The opening hours for each bath have been announced. Berlebeck/Heiligenkirchen will be open from Monday to Wednesday, Friday between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM. On Thursday, the bath will undergo cleaning from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On weekends, holidays, and Sunday, it will be open from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

Hiddesen will be open from Monday to Thursday between 12:00 PM and 7:00 PM, with Friday designated as a cleaning day from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On weekends, holidays, and Sunday, it will be open from 12:00 PM to 6:30 PM.

"Schwarzenbrink" in Heidenoldendorf will be open from Monday (cleaning day) between 1:00 PM and 7:00 PM. From Tuesday to Friday, it will be open from 11:30 AM to 7:00 PM. On weekends, holidays, and Sunday, it will be open from 11:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Finally, "Fischerteich" in Pivitsheide V.L. will be open from Monday, Wednesday to Friday between 11:00 AM and 7:00 PM. Tuesday will be a cleaning day from 1:00 PM to 7:00 PM. On weekends, holidays, and Sunday, it will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM.

Please note that in case of adverse weather conditions, opening hours may change at short notice for all Detmold public baths. Swimming will end 15 minutes before the closing time in all baths.
