Kenneth Lawrence: Identified Individually
In a heartfelt tribute, we remember Kenneth H. Lawrence, who passed away on August 23, 2025, at LGH. Born to Vernal and Ruth Lawrence, Kenneth was the cherished son who spent his life serving his community and nurturing the passions of his loved ones.
Kenneth, affectionately known as Ken, was a dedicated husband to Janie Lawrence, a devoted father to Scott Lawrence, Kristine Haley, and Kerry Lawrence, and a loving grandfather to Kaleb Lawrence, Joshua Lawrence, Austin Hamby, and Curtis Hamby.
Ken's life was deeply intertwined with the world of sports. He was a huge fan of his children and grandsons, cheering them on with unwavering support as they participated in various sports activities. His passion extended beyond the sidelines, as he spent many years coaching Solanco Midget Football, instilling teamwork, discipline, and a love for the game in countless young lives.
In 2000, Ken was inducted into the Solanco Wrestling Hall of Fame, a testament to his enduring impact on the sport. His service to the community did not stop there. After 37 years of dedicated service, he retired from Chester Water Authority as the assistant Chief.
Ken also served his country with pride, having served in the Navy as BM3.
In these difficult times, the family asks for privacy as they celebrate Ken's life in a private service. For those who wish to express their condolences, online tributes can be left at www.717cremate.com.
