KEENON Robotics Unveils C55, a Next-Gen Cleaning Robot for Massive Indoor Spaces

KEENON Robotics has launched its latest innovation, the C55 professional cleaning robot. The device was unveiled on November 11, 2025, at the ISSA North America Expo. Designed for large indoor spaces, the robot combines advanced automation with high-efficiency cleaning capabilities. The C55 is built for environments larger than 3,000m², integrating sweeping, scrubbing, and suction in a single system. It covers up to 2,376m² per hour, thanks to an extra-large 110-litre water tank that extends operational time. A triple-roller dry-wet separation design ensures clean water scrubbing, preventing cross-contamination during use.

Navigation is handled by a 360° perception system, merging LiDAR and stereo vision for precise obstacle avoidance. The robot can even climb over obstacles up to 5cm high, making it suitable for complex indoor terrains like speed bumps and cables. Power comes from a dual-battery setup with 5-second hot-swap functionality, enabling non-stop 24/7 operation. Beyond cleaning, the C55 supports remote management and automated reporting. It also handles autonomous tasks such as charging, sewage disposal, and water refilling. KEENON Robotics, which holds the top global position in commercial service robot shipments according to IDC, delivered around 15,000 robots worldwide in 2024. The main industries served include hospitality (40%), restaurants (30%), and healthcare (20%). The company aims to provide businesses with integrated robotic solutions to cut operating costs and boost productivity.

The C55's launch reinforces KEENON Robotics' focus on automation for large-scale cleaning needs. With its combination of speed, efficiency, and autonomous features, the robot targets industries seeking to reduce manual labour. The system is now available for commercial deployment following its expo debut.
