In a recent development, Hungary reported a disruption in oil supplies after an attack on the Unetcha pumping station in the Russian region of Bryansk in August. The initial impact on PCK, a refinery co-owned and operated by Rosneft Germany in Brandenburg, was unclear.

However, it has been revealed that Rosneft Germany, a subsidiary of Russia's largest oil company, is in "good discussions" regarding the extension of oil supplies from Kazakhstan. This move is significant as the oil supply disruption affected PCK, but it continues to receive oil from Kazakhstan via the Druzhba pipeline.

The current oil supply contracts between Rosneft Germany and Kazakhstan expire at the end of 2025, and discussions are ongoing regarding the extension and potential increase of oil supplies beyond this date. Rosneft Germany imports 120,000 tons of oil from Kazakhstan monthly.

Rosneft Germany has been under federal administration since 2022 due to the Moscow attack on Ukraine. Despite this, the company has assured that any missed quantities of oil during the disruption will be made up. The repair of the damaged Druzhba pipeline is expected to normalize the flow by the end of the week, according to Rosneft Germany.

PCK in Schwedt on the Oder, another refinery owned by Rosneft Germany, no longer receives Russian oil. However, no new information is provided about the status of PCK refinery no longer receiving Russian oil or about any changes in the oil supply situation from Ukraine or Russia.

It's worth noting that the attack on the Druzhba pipeline occurred in Ukraine, but no information is available about its impact on the oil supply in Hungary after the attack on the Unetcha pumping station. The search results do not provide information on the name of the trustee currently managing PCK under federal administration.

The Federal Ministry of Economics is expected to extend the trustee administration for Rosneft Germany, currently running until September 10. No new information is available about the repair and normalization of the Druzhba pipeline's flow or the oil supply situation in Hungary after the attack on the Unetcha pumping station.
