Kazakhstan and China Strengthen Academic Ties in Virtual Summit

Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with Duan Peng in a zoom meeting. During the zoom meeting, both sides explored ways to expand academic cooperation. Key topics included the development of artificial intelligence and the preparation of qualified Sinologists. Duan Peng also outlined potential joint initiatives in applied linguistics and digital education. The zoom meeting reinforced plans for joint educational and scientific projects. AI advancements and the training of Sinologists remain central to the partnership. The proposed university branch in Astana marks a further step in Kazakhstan-China relations.
