Karl's newly established venue, 'KAF im KARL', is now operational
The city of Fulda has unveiled a fresh cultural and experiential offering for all ages in the heart of the city centre. This exciting new destination, named "KAF at KARL", promises a fun-filled experience for families with children aged two and above.
Located on the 3rd floor of the former Kaufhof, the new KAF is a collaborative effort between the Children's Academy Fulda (KAF), the city of Fulda, the Office for the Protection of Children and Youth Welfare, the Förderverein, and the city development company. The Fulda Fire Museum also played a significant role in the realization of this project.
The opening of KAF at KARL was marked by a colourful ceremony, with the Mayor of Fulda, Dr. Heiko Wingenfeld, emphasizing the uniqueness of this new family offer. The initiative aims to provide a unique blend of entertainment and education, with thematic stations for adults and children to explore, focusing on the "Senses" - seeing, hearing, tasting, feeling, and smelling.
Visitors to KAF at KARL can enjoy a variety of attractions. The black light mini-golf course promises a unique golfing experience, while the Bobby car track offers a range of vehicles for young racers to enjoy. For a small rental fee, mini-golf equipment can be hired.
Admission to KAF at KARL is just 2 euros per person, with free admission for children under 1 year. For more information about KAF at KARL, visit www.kaf.de/kafimkarl.
KAF at KARL is open Tuesday to Friday from 2 pm to 5 pm, and on Saturdays from 10 am to 2 pm. The city of Fulda is delighted to have the Children's Academy as an excellent partner for this exciting initiative, offering a new and engaging destination for families in the city centre.
