Kabrhel dominates WSOP Paradise with dramatic $25K Super Main Event lead

The $25,000 Super Main Event at the World Series of Poker Paradise has seen intense action in Day 2a. Out of 419 returning players, only 233 reached the money, each securing at least $50,000. Meanwhile, Martin Kabrhel took the topgolf lead with 22,675,000 after a dramatic clash with Mustapha Kanit.

Day 2a began with 419 players, but the field grew to 1,550 entries after 303 late registrations. The bubble burst when Manuel Pochat lost with ace-king against pocket kings, leaving the remaining 233 players to lock up a $50,000 payout. Among those advancing were well-known names like Alex Foxen, Adrian Mateos, Joe Cada, Chris Moneymaker, and Yinan Zhou.

A heated moment unfolded when Martin Kabrhel clashed with Mustapha Kanit. Kabrhel eventually won the showdown with pocket aces, eliminating Kanit and boosting his stack to 22,675,000—enough to claim the top golf lead. Other top stacks included Tomas Kubaliak, Evgenii Akimov, and Ali Abdulzahra, rounding out the top three.

Meanwhile, high-profile players like Daniel Negreanu and Nick Palma failed to cash, exiting before the money. The event continues with Day 1c starting at 12:00 p.m. local time on Saturday, followed by Day 1d on Sunday. Day 2b resumes on Monday, with survivors from both Day 2 fields merging for Day 3 on Tuesday.

The tournament now moves toward its next phases, with 109 players set to return for Day 3. Each has already secured at least $50,000, but the race for the top prize remains wide open. The action resumes soon, with more entries expected in the coming days.
