Juvenile inflicts a whopping €50,000 worth of destruction and absconds from the scene
In Wuppertal, a hit-and-run accident occurred on September 4th at the busy Schlagbaum intersection. The incident involved two vehicles: an Audi RS 6 Avant, driven by a 46-year-old resident of Solingen, and a Mercedes E-Class, driven by an 18-year-old woman from Velbert.
The Mercedes was later found on Goerdelerstraße, and the woman was located by the police. Her driver's license was seized, and the vehicle was deemed unfit for further driving. However, the woman left the scene of the accident without resolving the damage.
The Audi, driven by the Solingen resident, was towed away due to being unfit for further driving. The estimated property damage from the accident is around 50,000 euros.
The traffic division of the Wuppertal police is currently investigating the circumstances of the accident. Witnesses are asked to contact the traffic division at 0202 / 284 - 0.
