Eagles Musician Joe Walsh Auctions Hundreds of Guitars - Joe Walsh auctions 800+ rock treasures—including Eagles relics—this December

Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh is selling off a lifetime of memorabilia in a major auction this December. Over 800 items, from rare guitars to stage outfits, will go under the hammer in Los Angeles. The 78-year-old musician says it’s time to share his 'treasures' with fans after years of collecting.

The auction, titled Life’s Been Good, runs on December 16 and 17, both online and in person. Among the highlights is a 1966 Framus Strato Gold De Luxe 12-string guitar, played by Walsh on his Barnstorm debut album. Another standout lot is a historic mobile mixing console from a Record Plant truck, once used by the Eagles, Rolling Stones, Elton John, and Metallica—valued between €215,000 and €430,000.

The auction offers fans a chance to own a piece of rock history while supporting charitable work. Walsh’s collection spans guitars, stagewear, and studio equipment, reflecting his long career. Bidding opens in mid-December, with proceeds split between veteran aid and addiction recovery programmes.
