Obituary: Joan Monnin (1930-2025)
Joan Monnin, a beloved member of the community, passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 95. Born to Deluvina and Frank P. Trujillo, Joan lived a life filled with love and achievement.
Joan is survived by her husband Gary, daughters Pamela Wheeler and Stacie Lopez, five grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Marie Priscilla Torres and Frank Roy Trujillo.
Services for Joan will be held on September 5, 2025, at the Shrine of Saint Bernadette Catholic Church. The specific time of the service has yet to be announced. Pallbearers for the service include Mark Lopez, Eric and Devin Lopez, Kevin Wheeler, Ronnie and Randy Torres.
