Jason Glatzer outplays Jorgen Andersen in high-stakes Triton Poker duel

A key hand unfolded at the 2026 Triton Poker Super High Roller event in Cyprus. Jason Glatzer secured a win after a tense showdown with Jorgen Andersen, boosting his chip stack in the tournament. Both players entered the hand with Glatzer holding fourth place and Andersen in seventh.

Before the hand, Glatzer sat with roughly 2.5 million chips, while Andersen had around 1.8 million. The action began when Andersen opened for 1,600 from early position. Glatzer, defending the big blind, called to see the flop.

The board came 8♣ 6♥ 2♦. Glatzer checked, Andersen bet, and Glatzer called again. On the turn, Glatzer took the lead with a 1,600 bet. Andersen called, setting up the river: 7♦. Glatzer led out once more, and Andersen called. At showdown, Glatzer revealed 10♦ 6♦ for two pair—eights and sixes. Andersen mucked his cards, conceding the pot to Glatzer. After the hand, Glatzer's stack grew to 25,500, while Andersen's dropped to 35,000.

The victory strengthened Glatzer's position in the tournament. Andersen, now with fewer chips, faces a tougher path forward. The hand highlighted the high-stakes decisions in one of poker's most prestigious events.
