A high-stakes showdown unfolded at the poker table as Ivan Ivanov and Jose Maria Nieto Martin clashed in the World Series of Poker 2024 Main Event. Ivanov's tournament run ended abruptly in fifteenth place, earning him €2,000 after a bold all-in move failed to pay off.

Ivanov, holding 8♣ 8♦, pushed all-in for 420,000 chips from under the gun. His aggressive play was met by Nieto Martin, who called from the hi-jack position with 9♠ 9♦.

The stronger pair held up, leaving Ivanov with no chips and eliminating him from the competition. Meanwhile, Nieto Martin's stack swelled to **2,300,000**, solidifying his position in the tournament.

Ivanov's exit marks the end of his run in this year's event, taking home a €2,000 prize. Nieto Martin, now with a commanding chip lead, advances deeper into the competition with a stronger advantage.
