Ittierre granted permission to manage and showcase Tommy Hilfiger's runway collections
Tommy Hilfiger Collaborates with Ittierre for Ready-to-Wear Collections
In a recent press release, it was announced that U.S. fashion brand Tommy Hilfiger has entered into a collaboration agreement with Italian group Ittierre. According to the statement, Ittierre will be responsible for producing and distributing Tommy Hilfiger's ready-to-wear collections in Europe, North America, and Asia.
Ittierre, which was acquired by Albisetti last year, currently has a portfolio of ten companies. The collections produced by Ittierre for Tommy Hilfiger will be priced within a range of 140 euros to 2,000 euros.
This collaboration marks a significant move for Ittierre, as they have secured five new licenses this year. One of the new licenses is for Balmain's second line. It is worth noting that Ittierre has not been mentioned as the producer or distributor of any specific brand's collections prior to this collaboration.
Antonio Bianchi, the President and CEO of Ittierre, expressed his excitement about the partnership. "We are thrilled to be partnering with Tommy Hilfiger, a brand that is synonymous with American style and innovation," Bianchi said. "We look forward to bringing our expertise in the production and distribution of high-quality fashion collections to this collaboration."
Tommy Hilfiger will retain creative control of the collections, ensuring that the brand's signature style remains intact. The distribution of runway accessories will be handled by Ittierre through Tommy Hilfiger stores, the multi-brand channel, and e-commerce.
The agreement covers Tommy Hilfiger's Fall/Winter 2012 and Spring 2013 collections. The context does not provide information about the geographical distribution of the collections associated with the new licenses.
This collaboration follows the agreement involving licensing Tommy Hilfiger's men's and women's ready-to-wear collections for Fall/Winter 2012 and pre-collections for Spring 2013, which was previously held by G-III Apparel Group.
The partnership between Tommy Hilfiger and Ittierre is expected to bring a fresh perspective to the brand's ready-to-wear collections, offering fashion enthusiasts a new range of stylish and high-quality clothing options.
