Italian motorboat manufacturer, Riva, showcases its proficiency in boat design with the introduction of the latest model, the Iseo Super.
New Riva Iseo Super: A Modern Take on a Classic Design
The Riva Iseo Super, the latest addition to the Ferretti Group's lineup, is a 27-foot runabout that continues a three-decade partnership with Officina Italiana Design. This new boat is a follow-up to the Riva El-Iseo electric boat, but with a traditional diesel-powered engine, or the option of two petrol engines from the Volvo Penta marine range.
Measuring 8.24 metres in length and boasting a maximum beam of 2.5 metres, the Riva Iseo Super offers ample space for relaxation and entertainment. The U-shaped sofa, upholstered with waterproof Sky fabric that can be matched with the hull colour, provides a comfortable seating area. An electrically operated table accompanies the sofa, making it perfect for dining or lounging.
The Riva Iseo Super's design is a classic and enduring visual signature of Riva style. The boat features a new hull color, Vulcan Grey, paired with high-gloss mahogany finishes on the deck and stern platform. A sunpad on the stern above the engine room provides a spot for soaking up the sun.
New motorboats on Lake Constance, a popular vacation spot that borders Germany, Austria, Liechtenstein, and Switzerland, cannot exceed a certain noise level or exhaust output. The Riva Iseo Super complies with these regulations, with the smaller petrol engine, a 305hp V8, meeting the requirements.
For a smooth ride, the Riva Iseo Super features onboard stabilization systems. The helm station is positioned behind a low, curved windscreen, providing an unobstructed view of the water ahead. The instrumentation can be digital, and it includes a digital Volvo Penta chartplotter for navigation.
A manually operated bimini top is stored behind the sofa, offering protection from the sun when needed. Riva has also introduced a new boat cover for the Iseo Super, which uses a material approach similar to a high-end automotive convertible for maximum breathability and weather protection when moored.
The Riva Iseo Super can cruise at speeds of up to 36 knots with the diesel model and around 33 knots with the petrol versions, making it a fast and agile boat. With its classic design, modern features, and high-performance engine options, the Riva Iseo Super is sure to be a hit with boat enthusiasts.
