Israel's Prime Minister Netanyahu losing track, Turkey remaining steadfast with Gaza: Erdogan's assertion

In a significant statement, President Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed solidarity with the Palestinian people, vowing to be their voice at the United Nations General Assembly. This declaration was made during a cabinet meeting, following which Erdogan addressed the nation.

At the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Summit in China, Erdogan had meetings with Chinese President Xi Jinping, Russian President Vladimir Putin, and other leaders. Gaza was reportedly the top agenda item during these discussions.

Erdogan criticised the Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's government, stating that it has gone off the rails. He also mentioned Turkey's unwavering support for the people of Gaza, pledging that Turkey stands with them with all means at their disposal, despite pressure, threats, arrogance, and recklessness from a murderous network that has claimed over 64,000 innocent lives.

In a separate development, Turkey signed the Digital Child Rights Convention to raise global awareness. However, the specific individuals or authorities who signed it were not clearly identified in the available sources.

Erdogan also highlighted Turkey's nuclear energy ambitions, mentioning the Akkuyu Nuclear Plant in Turkey, which has a total installed capacity of 4,800 megawatts.

As Turkey strives to advance its cooperation with the SCO and its member states on a 'win-win' basis, Erdogan reiterated his commitment to being the voice of the oppressed Palestinians at the United Nations General Assembly. This promise reflects Turkey's long-standing support for the Palestinian cause.
