The Federal Police Academy in Lübeck is set to host its graduation ceremony on Thursday, August 29, 2025, at 10:00 AM. Approximately 3,000 relatives, honorary guests, and representatives from national and international authorities are expected to attend the event.

The ceremony will take place at the Federal Police Academy, located at Ratzeburger Landstraße 2, 23562 Lübeck. Guests will be received at the main entrance at 9:40 AM. Due to limited parking on the Federal Police Academy grounds, it is recommended to provide your license plate number in advance.

Registration for the event is required and can be done by email at [email protected] by August 26, 2025, 6:00 PM. For access, accreditation, a valid press ID, and an official ID document are necessary. Registration requires providing function, medium, and press ID.

The graduation ceremony will mark the graduation of approximately 700 students as police commissioners. Speakers at the ceremony will include Christoph de Vries, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of the Interior, Dr. Dieter Romann, President of the Federal Police Headquarters, and Ulf Strandt, President of the Federal Police Academy.

Following the ceremony, the directors of the 11 Federal Police Directorates will welcome their future leaders for their appointment. The Federal Police Orchestra Hannover will provide musical accompaniment during the ceremony.

After the event, a "Blue Light Mile" will be open for media representatives and guests, where various units of the Federal Police will be presented.
