Invitation extended to media representatives for Police Challenge 2025 - Unveiling the intricacies of the police force - A unique and intimate insider's perspective
On the 5th of August, 2025, the Police Challenge 2025 event will commence in Goeppingen, marking its seventh iteration. This three-day experiential practicum, after a three-year hiatus due to the COVID-19 pandemic, offers a unique opportunity for young individuals aged 15 to 18 to explore the exciting and varied profession of the Baden-Württemberg Police.
The event, hosted by the Baden-Württemberg Police, will run until the 7th of August. During this period, participants will be accommodated in tents equipped with field beds. Prior registration is encouraged for the event, as places are limited.
On the second day, August 6, at around 11:00 am, Mr. Thomas Blenke MdL, the State Secretary in the Ministry of the Interior, for Digitalization and Communities Baden-Württemberg, will address the participants.
The Police Challenge 2025 will feature nine stations where team competitions will test both mental and physical abilities. The afternoon of the 6th will see the actual competition, the Police Challenge, taking place.
Interested young people who meet the general application requirements could apply for the Police Challenge 2025. Due to high demand, places were drawn by lottery.

It is worth noting that the Baden-Württemberg Police is offering over 1,200 training and study places in the middle and upper police service (Bachelor's degree) for the year 2025, as they did in the previous year.
The first four events were held in Böblingen. This year's event will take place at the Police Presidency Deployment in Goeppingen.
