Investment giant seals the inaugural Future Fund triumph.
In a thrilling finale held on August 11th in Hamburg, Philipp Haas was named the first Future Fundstar in the inaugural competition organised by Fundview, NFS Netfonds, and asset management firm Azemos. Haas' victory comes after a remarkable 1,100 percent return on his investment strategy since 2012.
The competition, which focused on operators of smaller-volume funds and newcomers eager to launch their own fund, attracted a host of talented individuals. However, it was Haas' strategy, named Venture Capital Strategies, that caught the jury's eye.
The jury praised Haas' strategy for its "genuine alpha approach," favourable risk-reward ratio, and low maximum loss of 16 percent. These factors were instrumental in Haas' win, according to the jury.
Despite the accolade, Haas remained humble, expressing hope that the competition continues to offer a new and alternative path for investment talents. He did not provide any new information about the praise received or his plans for the 2 million euro investment boost he is entitled to invest as he sees fit.
Haas' Wikifolio, Venture Capital Strategies, will continue to be the focus of his plans in the coming months and years. He did not mention any intentions to change the name or focus of his Wikifolio.
Regarding the competition, Haas did not express any concerns, indicating his satisfaction with the event. However, there are no specific publicly available details about the other participants who competed against him.
The event marked a significant milestone in the financial world, celebrating new talent and innovative strategies. As the first Future Fundstar, Philipp Haas is poised to make a lasting impact in the industry.
