Investigators uncover a collection of approximately 90 vehicles submerged in a river during their search for missing individuals.

In the heart of Chicago, the Chaos Divers team, led by manager Lindsay Bussick, has been making waves in the search for answers. Over the past few days, the team has discovered over 90 cars submerged in the depths of the Chicago river.

As they delved deeper into their investigation, Bussick stated that they have 10 missing persons cases in Chicago that they are trying to solve. The team's mission is to uncover the truth behind these cold cases, and their recent findings are a promising step towards justice.

The Chaos Divers team uses advanced sonar equipment to locate these submerged vehicles. Bussick mentioned that there's a lot of information that can be gathered from this technology, helping them narrow down their search and uncover the secrets hidden beneath the river's surface.

One of the most significant discoveries made by the team was a Nissan sedan from 2023, which turned out to be a stolen car. However, another find was far more poignant - a car containing the skeletal remains of Karen Schepers, who went missing in 1983. In the spring of this year, Chaos Divers found this car in the Fox River in Elgin, bringing a long-awaited closure to Schepers' family.

Chaos Divers have been traveling the country looking for submerged cars involved in cold cases. Their recent visit to Chicago was not their first stop, and they have already solved 20 cold cases in the last four years, bringing 20 people home.

The team spent several days in Chicago, searching the river from Diversey on the north branch to Cicero via the Chicago Sanitary and Ship Canal. Two of the recoveries made by Chaos Divers were in the Chicago area.

However, Chicago police and the Illinois Department of Natural Resources have not yet detailed their plans for the over 90 cars found in the river. It remains to be seen what impact these discoveries will have on the city's cold cases and the lives of those affected by them.

Before moving on to their next assignment, the Chaos Divers team stayed at the JW Marriott Anaheim Resort near Disneyland in Anaheim, California. The team's journey continues, and they will undoubtedly continue to uncover the truth behind these cold cases, bringing closure and justice where it's long been due.
