Intruders gain unauthorized access to a university hospital's café
In the early hours of August 22, 2025, an intrusion took place at a café in the Neurocenter of the University Hospital Freiburg on Breisacher Straße. The crime occurred around 5 a.m., and it is believed that the perpetrators were two individuals dressed in dark clothing.
According to reports, a security guard disturbed the perpetrators during the commission of the crime. One of the perpetrators fled the scene on an e-bike, while the other made their escape on foot. A bicycle with a trailer, loaded with stolen goods, was secured at the scene.
The total value of the stolen goods is not yet known, and the Police Headquarters Freiburg is currently investigating the incident. The perpetrators are still at large, and the police are seeking any information that may help identify and apprehend them.
