Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC) Launches Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train for "Pashupatinath (Nepal) Darshan Yatra"
The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd. (IRCTC) is set to launch a special Bharat Gaurav Deluxe AC Tourist Train for the "Pashupatinath Darshan Yatra" on 4th October 2025. This spiritual journey promises to take passengers across scenic and spiritual destinations, including the sacred Pashupatinath Temple in Nepal.
Bookings for this tour can be made through IRCTC's tourism portal, authorized agents, or via helpline numbers. The tour offers an all-inclusive package with meals, AC road transfers for sightseeing, hotel stays, tour escorts, travel insurance, on-board housekeeping & security, and more.
The tour is a 9 nights / 10 days journey, covering important boarding points including Indore, Ujjain, Shujalpur, Sehore, Rani Kamalapati, Itarsi, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, and Satna. Passengers will also visit the Chitwan National Park, Pokhara, and Kathmandu.
The Deluxe Category, which offers 2AC accommodation, is priced at Rs 75,230/- per person on double occupancy. Those opting for the Superior Category - Cabin in 1AC will pay Rs 91,160/- per person on double occupancy, while the tariff for the Comfort Category in 3AC is Rs 63,850/- per person on double occupancy. The highest-priced option is the Superior Category - Coupe in 1AC, costing Rs 99,125/- per person on double occupancy.
Speaking on the launch, Gaurav Jha, Group General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, Mumbai mentioned, "Our all-inclusive package offers a complete experience for our passengers, making their journey comfortable and memorable." Rajendra Borban, Joint General Manager, IRCTC West Zone, Bhopal, also stated the ease of booking the tour.
The on-board Rail Restaurant is available for 1AC and 2AC passengers, while at-seat service is provided for 3AC passengers during the journey. However, the tour leader or guide for the special train has not been publicly disclosed yet.
