In a groundbreaking move, cryptocurrency exchange Bitget and its wallet service, Bitget Wallet, have integrated with Ondo Finance to offer a new feature that brings high-potential global investments to the crypto market. This integration allows users to trade tokenized real-world assets, including stocks and ETFs, from the Bitget platform.

The service offers global investors access to a large selection of tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs onchain, with over 100 options available to browse and trade. Each token is tied to a real-world security and tracks the price of the underlying asset and its dividends. The minimum investment for tokenized stocks and ETFs on Bitget is just one dollar, making it accessible to a wide range of investors.

The tokens use the liquidity of traditional equity markets, not onchain pools, and are backed by assets held with regulated custodians. Certified custodian institutions safeguarding tokenized stocks and ETFs on Ethereum, Solana, and BNB Chain include regulated banks and trust companies such as Coinbase Custody, BitGo Trust Company, and Fireblocks, which are commonly recognized for their compliance and security standards.

Gracy Chen, CEO at Bitget, stated that the move brings high-potential global investments to the crypto market, commenting, "This integration is doing for U.S. securities what stablecoins did for the U.S. dollar by bringing it onchain." Nathan Allman, Founder and CEO of Ondo Finance, echoed this sentiment, stating, "We are excited to partner with Bitget to bring our tokenized securities to a non-U.S. user base."

The tokens are currently available on the Ethereum blockchain and will later be available on Solana and BNB Chain. This liquidity is facilitated through Ondo's Global Markets infrastructure, which enables seamless trading and settlement of tokenized securities.

However, it's important to note that the service is available to eligible users, but it is not available in some markets, including for some users in the United States. Bitget and Ondo Finance are among the first to offer this service to a non-U.S. user base, paving the way for a new era of crypto investing.

With this integration, users can now access tokenized stocks and ETFs without the hassle of accessing these instruments previously. This move is set to revolutionize the crypto market and make it more accessible to a wider range of investors.
