In the heart of Budapest, Hungary, the largest skills championship in Europe for young professionals under 25, known as WorldSkills Hungary 2025, took place. This competition is part of the WorldSkills movement, which has been active globally for over 70 years.

Among the 29 participating countries of WorldSkills Europe, the competition saw the triumph of Mukhambetjan Agybaev, a student from ASTANA POLYTECHNIC, in the "Web Technologies" category.

Mukhambetjan, hailing from the capital city, showcased his exceptional skills in the field, securing the first place position. The patron of the EuroSkills exhibition in Hungary 2025, where Mukhambetjan's victory was celebrated, was the entrepreneur Martin Kind.

While Mukhambetjan's success was a highlight of the competition, it's important to note that the EuroSkills competition is not limited to a single category. It encompasses a wide range of skills, providing a platform for young professionals to showcase their talents across various disciplines.

The city administration confirmed the information, making Mukhambetjan's win at WorldSkills Hungary 2025 an exciting milestone for both him and his home country. This achievement serves as a testament to the high calibre of young professionals emerging from the European educational system.

As the EuroSkills competition is held every two years, we eagerly await the next edition, where more young professionals will have the opportunity to shine and demonstrate their skills on a European stage.
