**Intense Fire Engulfs Damm**
In the heart of Aschaffenburg-Ost, the fire that broke out in the Damm warehouse has finally been brought under control, marking the end of a tireless operation that saw dedicated emergency services working day and night to contain the blaze.
The fire, which began several days ago, has now been extinguished, thanks to the relentless efforts of the THW OV Aschaffenburg and support from units across the Aschaffenburg district. Mopping-up and cleanup operations are now complete.
Despite the extreme heat, the deployed units worked diligently throughout the operation, providing evening refreshments courtesy of the "Abendbrot" unit. Food, snacks, and drinks were also available at the incident site throughout the operation.
The affected warehouse remains cordoned off, and it is advised to avoid the area. The official warning regarding the smoke plume remains in effect, with the affected locations including Glattbach, Goldbach, and Aschaffenburg-Damm. However, the warning has been lifted for other areas, and the population can rest assured that there is no current danger.
