The Shanghai Auto Show next month will see the debut of two significant new models from Chery - the QQ3 Cross and the QQ3 replacement.

Spy shots have already revealed a variant of the new model, the QQ3 Cross, which boasts a 1.3 3-cylinder engine generating 68 horsepower and 93 Newton-metres of torque. Interestingly, the engine of the QQ3 Cross will be identical to that of the normal QQ3.

Meanwhile, the QQ3 replacement is part of the QQ series revival. Details about its engine are yet to be disclosed.

In a separate development, Chery's Jetour brand has launched the Zongheng G700 PHEV off-road SUV. The model, which started pre-sales at the 2025 Chengdu Auto Show, has already begun exporting more vehicles than it sells domestically. The G700 PHEV is a powerful vehicle, producing 751 horsepower and featuring a wading depth of 970mm.

The Shanghai Auto Show, where these new models will be unveiled, is a significant event in the automotive industry. It's expected that the debut of the QQ3 Cross will coincide with the unveiling of the QQ3 replacement, marking a significant milestone for Chery.

As for the QQ3 Cross, it features big plastic bumpers, but further details about the vehicle are yet to be revealed.

In a positive sign for the automotive industry, Chery managed to export more vehicles than it sold domestically in August 2025, indicating a growing global demand for its vehicles.

The all-new Chery QQ3 EV, which debuted in China, is another testament to Chery's commitment to innovation and sustainable mobility. More details about this model will be revealed in due course.
