However, Sven Schulte from the IHK has stated that the new retail center will be a small neighborhood supply center, aiming to cater to the needs of the local community. Cornelia Oßwald, Sven Schulte, and some district representatives have appealed to all actors to work together and not let themselves be divided in this matter.

Eva Möger from the Greens has suggested planting flowers in tree pits on Heyestraße to improve the quality of stay in the area. Meanwhile, the pastoral counselor has emphasised the strengths of the people in the community: they speak plainly, are capable of integration, are exceptionally helpful, and are life enthusiasts.

The pastoral counselor has also called for more initiatives, particularly from business owners, to foster a sense of home and identity, and to ensure that the community feels needed and noticed.

Amidst these discussions, the compatibility report for the new retail center has not been published yet. The construction of a hotel at the Wendeschleife, however, is currently underway.
