Innovative business approach: collaborative creation and development!

The Federal Ministry of Economics has initiated a stakeholder process for the new Startup and Scaleup Strategy of the Federal Government, inviting the Munich startup community to actively contribute to shaping its central themes.

The online survey for feedback on the new strategy can be found on the ministry's website. The ideas and proposals from investors, founders, and experts of the Munich startup scene are being sought to emphasize support for scientific spin-offs, create innovation ecosystems like Startup Factories, enhance networking, increase risk-taking and speed, strengthen AI and technology transformation, and educate entrepreneurial talents at scale.

Specific proposals include expanding startup factories modeled after existing successful centers, securing more funding for early-stage ventures, and accelerating digital infrastructure and ecosystem connectivity. A potential project under consideration is the introduction of a digital platform that enables foundations within 24 hours.

The goal of the new strategy is to make German innovations more visible internationally and increase the country's economic competitiveness. It will continue to combine projects from the coalition agreement with practical ideas from the community. The focus of the strategy is on guiding questions that evaluate location factors, such as financing conditions for startups in Germany.

Feedback from participants will be used in thematic workshops to further develop the startup strategy after the summer break. The measures in the new strategy should be practical and quickly implementable to improve conditions for startups and scaleups.

The proposal will be coordinated with other federal departments. The Federal Ministry of Economics will develop a proposal for the new startup strategy based on feedback from participants. The goal remains to make German innovations more visible internationally and increase the country's economic competitiveness.

The Munich startup community can directly influence the shaping of the new startup strategy with their experiences and ideas.
