Injury of severe magnitude sustained by a quad driver in car collision, according to Polish authorities' account
In the early hours of August 25, 2025, a tragic accident occurred on L 602, the road leading towards Bocholt, in the town of Bocholt, Germany.
According to the Kreispolizeibehörde Borken, the incident took place at 6:40 AM, when the driver of a quad, a 35-year-old man from Bocholt, lost control of his vehicle. For unknown reasons, he veered off the road to the right on the bridge over the Frankenstraße.
In a bid to regain control, the driver crossed the road to the left, but unfortunately, he collided with the noise barrier after veering off the road. As a result, the driver sustained severe injuries.
A rescue helicopter was quickly dispatched to the scene and flew the injured individual to a hospital for further treatment.
