24-Year-Old Faces Consequences for Cannabis-Related Accident
A 24-year-old individual from Grünau-Lausen found themselves in legal trouble after causing a collision on Monday evening. The accident, which occurred due to the perpetrator's failure to yield to a vehicle with the right of way, resulted in significant property damage totalling 8,000 euros.
According to court records, the 24-year-old was under the influence of cannabis at the time of the incident. After fleeing the scene, the individual was later apprehended at their residence by the police.
The court case revealed that the 24-year-old had a history of traffic violations, and at the time of the court case, they did not possess a valid driver's license. As a result, the court imposed a fine of an undisclosed amount on the 24-year-old for the offenses committed.
In addition, the court ordered the 24-year-old to complete a mandatory driving course, suspended their driver's license, and prohibited them from driving for a period of six months following the court decision. The 24-year-old's driver's license was also suspended due to the court's decision.
