Industrial Tour Unveiled: Exploration of Manufacturing District Begins

On July 23, 2025, the District of Fürth launched a new event format, "Walk and Talk," designed for regional networking. The event took place in the industrial area of Veitsbronn, south of the railway line.

The day began at the carpentry workshop Zachhuber, known for custom-made furniture and exclusive furnishing solutions. With over 30 years of experience in high-quality interior construction, Zachhuber is in demand nationwide for the stylish equipment of modern burger restaurants. The managing director expressed their satisfaction with full order books and a desire to expand.

The tour continued to MSI GmbH, a specialist for modular aluminum profile systems. MSI GmbH uses both modern machines and proven classics to create their products. Participants were offered a small refreshment and an explanation of the products.

Another stop on the tour was KUBA Prüf GmbH, a company that tests vehicles and values a modern working environment. KUBA Prüf GmbH prioritizes quality and is known for its involvement in high-profile events such as Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, and concerts featuring artists like Robbie Williams and Taylor Swift.

Hausmeisterservice Winkler, a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact, maintained numerous objects in the metropolitan area and hosted the joint barbecue that concluded the tour.

Mayor Marco Kistner addressed the topic of expansion, expressing that Veitsbronn thrives on a strong middle class, and it's important for businesses to get to know each other and connect. District Administrator Bernd Obst echoed this sentiment, stating that formats like "Walk and Talk" give visibility to the regional economy and spark new collaborations.

Each participant received a name tag at the beginning of the event for networking purposes. The event aimed to promote lived exchange and regional networking in a young, dynamically growing industrial area.

While the search results do not explicitly list other cities in the district that also want to apply the "Walk and Talk" format, it is clear that the District of Fürth is committed to fostering a vibrant and connected business community.
