Industrial Tour Unveiled: Exploration of Industrial District During "Walk and Talk" Event

The District of Fürth played host to the latest instalment of the "Walk and Talk" series on July 23, 2025. This unique event, designed for lived exchange and regional networking, brought together local businesses and community members in Veitsbronn.

The day began at the carpentry workshop Zachhuber, a master's workshop with over 30 years of experience in high-quality interior construction. Each participant received a name tag and embarked on a tour, starting with presentations by the management of KUBA Prüf GmbH. This company, not only tests vehicles but also values a modern working environment and open atmosphere in customer contact.

Quality was a recurring theme throughout the presentations, as evident in KUBA Prüf GmbH's commitment to modern, inviting working environments. The managing director of Zachhuber also spoke of full order books and the desire to expand, showcasing the vibrant business scene in Veitsbronn.

The tour continued through the industrial area south of the railway line, with a stop at MSI GmbH, a specialist for modular aluminum profile systems. Here, participants were treated to a refreshment and an explanation of products, while both modern machines and proven classics shaped the daily work at MSI GmbH.

The event concluded at Hausmeisterservice Winkler, a company that maintains numerous objects in the metropolitan area and is a member of the Bavarian Environmental Pact. The tour ended with a joint barbecue, providing ample opportunity for short conversations and further networking.

The next organizer of the "Walk and Talk" series in other communities of the Fürth district is not explicitly mentioned; however, similar events are documented in Weiden, organized at Stadt Türlgasse 16. This suggests that local community or event organizers may vary by location.

Mayor Marco Kistner expressed his support for the event, stating that Veitsbronn thrives on a strong middle class, and it's important for businesses to connect and get to know each other. District Administrator Bernd Obst also praised the format, stating that it creates visibility for the regional economy and sparks new collaborations.

In addition to KUBA Prüf GmbH and MSI GmbH, the event featured The Motion Group, which rents various event technology, including those used at Rock am Ring, Rock im Park, Robbie Williams, and Taylor Swift. Hausmeisterservice Winkler, a company that maintains numerous objects in the metropolitan area, was also a key participant.

The "Walk and Talk" series is a testament to the thriving business community in the Fürth district and the importance of local networking and collaboration. As the series continues to grow, it's sure to bring even more businesses and community members together, fostering a strong and vibrant local economy.
