Individual makes off with merchandise after committing theft at a kiosk, fleeing the scene post-heist.
In the heart of Recklinghausen, a kiosk on Steinstraße was the scene of an afternoon robbery last Thursday. According to a report transmitted by news aktuell from Police Headquarters Recklinghausen, the perpetrator demanded cash, cigarettes, and drinks from the 69-year-old employee, who was threatened with a knife.
The suspect, described as a male around 1.80m tall, slim, with dark eyes, was wearing a faded blue jeans, a black jacket with a hood, a grey cap, and a mask covering his mouth and nose. The jacket, distinctive in its design, bears the name "HUGO" in white on the hood and a red emblem on the left chest.
The robbery occurred around 15:50. After receiving the demanded items, the perpetrator fled towards B224/Essener Straße, heading north, carrying his loot in a green plastic bag.
