Individual Involved in Collision with Police Car Found Intoxicated at Slot Machine
Man Charged with DUI after Crashing into Police Cruiser
Mark Guyot, a 51-year-old father of four, found himself in legal trouble after a fateful incident on I-15 near Las Vegas. Guyot was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, resulting in bodily harm, as well as for hit-and-run and failure to assist the victim.
The incident took an unexpected turn when Guyot crashed into a Nevada State Police cruiser. Instead of stopping, he fled the scene. However, his escape was short-lived. Approximately 20 minutes later, he was found unconscious at a slot machine in the Silverton Casino.
Upon examination, two empty bottles of whiskey were discovered near Guyot, and he exhibited signs of intoxication, such as slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. Despite refusing a breathalyzer test on-site, he consented to blood tests.
Guyot posted his $100,000 bail and is scheduled to return to court today. In his professional life, Guyot has worked as a video producer and director, serving clients in the gaming and hospitality industries. Notable names like MGM Resorts are listed on his website as clients.
Despite the charges, Guyot remains a family man, a role he continues to fulfil as a father of four. This incident serves as a stark reminder of the dangers and consequences of driving under the influence of alcohol.
