In an unsettling incident that took place on Wednesday, a 59-year-old man threatened two employees of a public institution in Bremen, Germany, with death. The man, who has not been identified beyond his age, was found carrying a knife and scissors in his backpack.

The incident unfolded when the man entered the public institution on Bürgerstraße seeking legal assistance around 10 am. However, when informed that assistance would only be possible later, the man started shouting and performed the Hitler salute multiple times.

After being asked to leave the building at around 2 pm, the man threatened the two men with death. A colleague of the employees bravely intervened, subduing the man until the arrival of the police.

The Bremen police responded promptly to the incident and arrested the man. Criminal charges were filed against him for threats and the use of symbols of unconstitutional organizations. The man was ordered to leave the premises and banned, and investigations are ongoing to determine the motives behind his outburst.
