Individual experiencing severe, potentially fatal injuries following collision on West End road involving a scooter
A young adult male sustained a life-threatening injury in a scooter crash that occurred in Alexandria's West End on Saturday morning.
The incident took place around 10:15 a.m. near the 600 block of N. Jordan Street. Emergency dispatchers reported that the victim was lying on the ground and slightly moving.
The Alexandria Police Department (APD) was notified about the incident three hours later. The department is currently investigating the accident, and they have shared information about the incident on their social media platforms.
The scooter crash did not involve any other vehicle. The victim was transported to the GW Hospital Trauma Center following the accident.
