Individual discovered with a knife injury
In a shocking turn of events, emergency services were dispatched to Haselhorst, Berlin-Spandau, last night following a report of a serious assault.
A 46-year-old man was found with a stab wound to the abdomen around 6:30 PM. The man was immediately rushed to a hospital for emergency surgery and later admitted.
According to initial findings, the incident occurred in a multi-family residence on Kanalstraße. The man's apartment was the scene of the altercation, where it is alleged that drugs were consumed before the incident.
The man claimed that two women inflicted the injury. The 23-year-old woman and a 16-year-old friend visited the man before the assault. It is alleged that the man threatened the women with a knife and prevented them from leaving, leading to a physical altercation. During this altercation, the 23-year-old woman is said to have inflicted the abdominal wound.
The 23-year-old woman and the 16-year-old girl, who is suspected in connection with the attack, are friends. After the altercation, the women fled the apartment.
Around 11 PM, the 23-year-old woman reported to a precinct, accompanied by her lawyer. The woman was taken into custody for further police questioning. A blood sample was taken from her before she was released.
The investigation into the assault is now being handled by a specialized unit from Police Directorate 2 (West). The 23-year-old woman claimed that she and the 16-year-old friend were threatened with a knife by the 46-year-old man before the altercation.
