Individual commits lewd act in subway and verbally abuses, threatens, and spat upon train passengers.
In a recent incident at Essen Central Station, the Federal Police have taken action against an aggressive passenger who was reported by an employee of Deutsche Bahn on September 3rd.
The incident occurred around 3:40 PM at platform 21, where the Federal Police patrol located the suspect. According to reports, the passenger had previously been known for offenses such as defacing S-Bahn trains, insulting a train conductor, and racially discriminating against a female train conductor.
The suspect's latest misconduct included urinating on the floor of the S-Bahn in front of a seat, spitting in the face of a German train attendant, and racially insulting another female train attendant who was born in CΓ΄te d'Ivoire. When confronted about his actions, the suspect threatened the female train attendant with physical violence if she did not leave.
The Federal Police have initiated an investigation for incitement, threats, and bodily harm, and an administrative offense procedure was initiated for soiling a railway facility. The suspect admitted to the crime but exercised his right to remain silent.
