India's InnoPhant Sparks a Youth Innovation Revolution on National TV

India's first televised innovation hunt for young minds has drawn massive interest. InnoPhant invites students aged 8 to 18 to submit ideas, compete in regional rounds, and present on national TV. The programme aims to uncover and nurture the country's next generation of innovators through structured mentorship and rewards.

The competition follows a startup-style journey, beginning with idea submissions on the official website, innophant.in. Participants then progress through zonal rounds, with the top entries advancing to a televised national finale. So far, over 50,000 young innovators have taken part in these regional stages, with strong representation from Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, and Karnataka.

InnoPhant offers more than just recognition. Winners receive scholarships, grants, and startup opportunities, along with skill development and national media exposure. The initiative also emphasises nation-building by fostering a culture of innovation among school students. Open to all Indian students under 18, the programme seeks to create a widespread movement of young problem-solvers. The platform's mentorship model connects participants with industry experts and educators. This support system guides them from idea refinement to potential real-world implementation. By blending competition with practical learning, InnoPhant aims to bridge the gap between classroom creativity and tangible impact.

The response to InnoPhant has already surpassed expectations, with tens of thousands of entries from across the country. Selected finalists will gain national visibility, funding, and mentorship to develop their projects further. The initiative's long-term goal is to establish a sustainable pipeline of young innovators ready to contribute to India's future.
