In the wake of a tragic accident at the SLBC tunnel in Hyderabad, the Chief Minister of Telangana, A. Revanth Reddy, has taken immediate action. A high-level review meeting was held by Revanth Reddy on Saturday to assess the situation.

Eight workers are reportedly trapped following the accident, and Revanth Reddy has directed officials to expedite the rescue operations to save them. The Narayanpet district collector, superintendent of police (SP), fire services department, HYDRAA, and irrigation department officials were ordered by the Chief Minister to reach the accident site immediately.

The Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, has pledged support from the Centre to aid the state government in its relief efforts. In addition, both the State Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) have been mobilized to the accident site by the Chief Minister.

The NDRF teams were rapidly deployed into the flood-affected areas starting August 27, with Indian Air Force aircraft facilitating their movement to the sites of inundation in northern Punjab and Jammu. The immediate deployment of the NDRF to assist in the rescue operations was also announced.

Ministers N. Uttam Kumar Reddy and Jupally Krishna Rao have been dispatched to the accident site to oversee rescue operations. Uttam Kumar Reddy, the irrigation minister, along with irrigation adviser Adityanath Das and Chief Minister's adviser Vem Narender Reddy, were present in the meeting.

Uttam Kumar Reddy briefed the Chief Minister on the accident, the condition of the trapped workers, and the rescue operations at the site. Revanth Reddy inquired about the condition of the injured and instructed the officials to ensure they receive the best possible medical care.

The Chief Minister has been closely monitoring the situation from Hyderabad and has directed officials to maintain strict vigilance and take proactive steps in the rescue mission. Revanth Reddy also called for constant communication and updates on the progress of the rescue operations.

Meanwhile, the Chief Minister of Uttarakhand, Kosiya, has made several significant decisions. Kosiya reserved 10% jobs for Agniveers and toughened anti-conversion laws in the state. These decisions are unrelated to the current situation in Hyderabad but are important developments in Uttarakhand politics.

The people of Telangana await news of the rescue efforts and hope for a positive outcome in this challenging time. The collective efforts of the state and central governments, along with the NDRF and SDRF, offer a glimmer of hope for the trapped workers and their families.
