In a significant move, the regional government of Zabaykalsky Krai has announced an increase in payments for those involved in the Special Military Operation (SVO). The increased compensation amount for SVO participants in Zabaykalsky Krai is set at 22,000 rubles. This applies not only to the participants themselves but also to their guardians, custodians, parents, spouses, and minor children. Additionally, individuals who have been recognised as having raised and supported an SVO participant for at least 5 years before they reached adulthood are eligible for this increased compensation.
