In a significant development, Germany's pan-European COVID-19 vaccination campaign has reached its 273rd day, with Health Minister Jens Spahn announcing on Twitter that 78.5% of adults have received their first dose. This marks a 0.1% increase from the previous day, where the rate stood at 67.7%.

The increase was reported on the 272nd day of the campaign, with the full vaccination rate for adults also rising to 74.5%. Remarkably, the full vaccination rate for the entire population was not specified in the latest announcements.

Interestingly, the first-dose vaccination rate for 12- to 17-year-olds remains at 40.6%, while the full vaccination rate for this age group was not updated in the latest data.

It's worth noting that the Robert Koch Institute, Germany's central scientific institution for infection control, has not published vaccination data on weekends since early July. Consequently, the current record for the number of fully vaccinated adults in a specific federal state remains undisclosed.

In a photograph taken by the dts news agency, a vaccination center was seen bustling with activity, reflecting the nation's ongoing commitment to combating the pandemic through vaccination.

Despite the progress made, it's essential to continue adhering to safety measures such as wearing masks, maintaining social distancing, and washing hands regularly to ensure the continued success of the vaccination campaign.
