In a significant stride towards addressing homelessness and ensuring public safety in Washington D.C., the federal crime operation led by U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi has reached a milestone. The operation, aiming to "make D.C. safe again," has seen over 200 arrests during the Labor Day weekend.

The Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) of Washington, D.C. seized nearly 20 illegal guns during the operation, bringing the total number of illegal weapons removed from the streets to 168. This number includes the guns seized during the Labor Day weekend festival.

The operation's intensity was evident on Monday night, with 70 arrests made. The weekend's arrest count, however, has not been specified beyond the fact that over 200 arrests were made during the Labour Day weekend.

As of now, the number of arrests in President Donald Trump's federal crime operation in D.C. stands at 1,669. It's worth noting that no new information about arrests made during the current period is available.

In a show of continued commitment to the operation, DC Mayor has issued an order to maintain the presence of federal law enforcement. The operation, which has been ongoing, continues to be a key focus in the city's efforts to combat crime and ensure a safer environment for its residents.
